01 Flaff
02 La Gare de Mongo
03 Enkelt
04 Fallos4all
05 Fitting In
06 Jonkvrouwe (featuring screamgirl)

Dramacore releases this zip-file with some of the more twisted Goto80-songs in a while. Not so much purism, not so much pop. There’s noise, self pity blues, drum’n'bass and breakcore, and also the somewhat-reggae track Jonkvrouwe which is made with 1 sample of a special screaming girl…

Marsch Dog, Barbies' knarkhund, Knarkdog! yeah yeah.. Video by Rosa Menkman. Check more here. The song was made in two hours and all the sounds are either from Rosa’s mouth or dogs’ mouths, except for the beats..

08 Goto80 – Volksing

The great German label Pingipung has released a compilation with a brass theme. This was the compilation that originally made me have Dj Knull record the trumpet on my Volksing-track, which originally shouldn’t have spread before this compilation, but… I recommend you to get this compilation if you’re into brass and electronica! There’s stuff from Mouse on Mars and Bitshifter, Peter Presto (making a cover of good ol’ Goto80-song Papaya Dub), Le Rok, Mister Tingle, etc. Also find my Volksing song in Forms and at youtube.

Diego, the King of Blow-Fi

Friday, March 2nd, 2007

If you’re into lo-fi pop, then you can listen to Diego. I backed him up for an evening, and we recorded 8 vodka-induced songs. I used piano, siel mono, boxes and a megaphone.

diego!
